I strive to create a safe environment where clients can openly discuss their concerns while working together to develop meaningful and realistic treatment goals.
I have over 18 years of nursing experience, including 6 years working in psychiatric settings with adolescents, women experiencing trauma, detox populations, and high-acuity patients. I am deeply committed to providing thoughtful, high-quality mental health care. I am especially passionate about helping individuals better understand how to improve daily functioning and quality of life.
About Me: Outside of work, I enjoy spending time and going on adventures with my family, reading, taking walks, and learning about different cultures and perspectives. I also speak Portuguese and value connecting with individuals from diverse backgrounds. These experiences continue to strengthen my appreciation for the unique life experiences each person brings into the therapeutic space.
